I got to fly to Texas and film James Harden for FullScreen and Samsung. It was a fun gig. It was the most pampered I had ever been for a video shoot to be sure.
As with any high-profile shoot, there were a factor more people there than the production warranted. I’ll say it was hilarious that each cut needed approval with 12 different people, but the more expensive a gig, the more people show up.
Oh and “BdotAdot5” is a star. Very talented and serious about his work.
I shot the video with a 1st Gen Samsung 360 camera. I do LOVE the little Samsung camera, I do NOT love Samsung phones (not an IOs vs Android thing — Samsung tends to over-think the UI).
With the Samsung 360, you can expect 45 minutes of filming, and processing on the phone taking 2x longer than the clip to render. As of TODAY, that isn’t bad.
Overheating is an issue. I try and keep the batteries in a cooler. The Camera lens will fog up when the cold batteries are installed, but it will help keep the entire thing cool.
